techniques for different kinds of interactivity

there are a number of techniques for interacting with interactive media
and here are some examples

hyperlink: a hyperlink is a series of text with a web address attachment to it normally shown when text is light blue with an underline

hyperlinks are useful for when you want to add a link to a unrelated website without typing the address on the site

the interactivity is being able to click the link to go to the website attached

imbedded YouTube video:

an embedded video is using htmi code to directly attach a video to a site without having to link to it

this is useful for adding videos to blogs instead of linking to the video causing the viewer to click off the video

the interactivity is clicking the video to play it and every button you see on it

time limit:
some websites may have a time limit on usage for there website for when you can access a page or perhaps in a flash game like Mario

the interactivity is what happens to the site when the timer runs out

text entry:
text entry is allowing you to type on a website normally in a box

here's a text entry box example

the interactivity is entering text in to the site and can be very useful for things like search engines, leaving comments and discussion forums
